Do American Idols wear ridiculously high shoe lifts?

In every season of American Idol, it seems that contestants get taller between Hollywood Week, Top 24, and the Top 12.  The reason is that while Ryan Seacrast wears lifts all the time, the rest of the contestants wear lifts during the top 12 or in this case of females extra high heels(anything to get that extra edge).  Ryan Seacrest of course complains about his height all the time.

Maybe instead of being so prolific he should look into some limb lengthening alternatives.  What’s the point of being famous if you don’t contribute to society?  As the movie The Emperor’s Club so eloquently stated, “Great Power without Contribution is without significance.”  Ryan Seacrest is known for complaining about his height and being extremely prolific.

Is it really worth it being famous if you don’t achieve anything(other than learning how to read cards or numbers faster)?  If you’re upset about your stature Ryan, try to be taller, don’t vomit crap on the airwaves.
